This contrast was made even more stark when I visited the waterfall in overcast misty weather – classic Iceland. It was in these conditions that I made some painting studies on location which I then used when working on this painting back in the studio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis waterfall is called Gluggafoss, found in Fljótshlíð, South Iceland.
