THE STORY
South east, not far from the city of Reykjavik is a beautiful spot to paint. Here you’ll find the winding river Suðurá over which looms the silhouette of a mountain called Vífilsfell. Late summer is a wonderful time to catch these iconic landmarks! The overcast weather gave the distant mountain a touch of mystery as it faded into the distance yet the foreground, full of vegetation, was alive with colour and just begging to be captured in paint.
