THE STORY
Everyone was reminded of Iceland’s fiery heart with the eruption in Fagradalsfjall in 2021 which marked the awakening of the Reykjanes Volcanic Belt. I will never forget avidly following the eruption along with the rest of you via the webcams and with my paintbrush. It was the first eruption I ever experienced, being able to hike and witness with my own eyes the power and beauty of nature.

Remember this remarkable moment with this small original painting, an ideal memento you can hang or place on the shelf in your home. This painting marked day 34 since the eruption began in March and is the last original available from my 100 series. You can find out more about this series here.
