THE STORY
This was the 50th painting in my Volcano a Day project. Half way through my goal of 100 paintings of the eruption in Fagradallsfjall! It was great fun to paint the explosive lava jets which were reaching almost 300 metres high! You can see the amazing scale with the tiny figure silhouetted against the smoke.
